Carnicer | Pot-purri de aires característicos españoles

We publish in this volume the Pot-purri de aires característicos españoles Ramón Carnicer, the best example -together with Saverio Mercadante's Sinfonia caratteristica spagnola (1826), used as overture in his opera I due Figaro- of fusion between the Rossinian style, so present in Carnicer's work, and the popular Spanish music of the time.

Orchestra: piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 French horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 2 violins, violas, cellos, double basses and timpani.
