This volume contains the Salve Regina for soprano, alto, two violins and b.c. by Antonio Corvi y Morotti (1709-1771), master of Italian-style music at the Real Colegio de Niños Cantores in Madrid. This is the only sacred work by Corvi y Morotti that has come down to us and is kept in the Sanctuary of Aránzazu.

The influence of Pergolesi's Stabat mater, a work that had a great impact on composers in Spain and the rest of Europe, can be clearly seen in this Salve.

Voices and instruments: soprano, alto, 2 violins and bc.
