This volume presents three Compline psalms by Carlos Patiño, maestro of the Royal Chapel in Madrid between 1634 and 1675. These include a Cum invocarem for 8 voices arranged in two choirs, a Qui habitat for 8 voices in two choirs, and a Cum invocarem for 12 voices in three choirs. It is possible that the first two psalms belonged to the same Compline collection.
