This volume includes the "Dúo humano" Amante fatiga by José de Torres, organist and chapel master of the Royal Chapel in Madrid. It is a long Arcadian cantata, or a small serenata, composed approximately between 1715 and 1725. Perhaps the dedicatee of this work was José Manuel de Silva y Mendoza de la Cerda, 10th Count of Galve and husband of the 11th Duchess of Alba. This score is one of the few musical documents that survived from the fire that devastated the Palacio de Liria, property of the Dukes of Alba, in 1936.

Voices and isntruments:

2 sopranos, 2 violins and b.c.
